Congratulations! Your senior year is going to be full of amazing memories. Your senior photoshoot is going to be one of your favorites! In order to create images that show the real you, I need to get to know you a little. I will meet with you and your parents at least a week before your session for a consultation. I want to know how YOU want to look in your pictures. Are you an athlete and you want to have images that highlight your sport? Do you play an instrument? Do you want to look formal or are you a jeans and t-shirt kind of kid? Do you have a horse or a car or a pet you want to include in your photos? I am also interested in how your parents want you to look. I’m guessing they are paying for these pictures, so we need to make sure they get what they want too!
During our consultation we will also discuss WHERE we will shoot your photographs. In a session we will visit up to three different locations so you get a great variety of pictures. This also allows an opportunity to have three different outfits. Once we nail down the details in our consultation, I can start planning how to customize your images. By the time we meet for our actual photoshoot, I will be full of ideas for capturing the real you.
The photoshoot itself will take around two hours.Your parents are welcome to join us, or we can surprise them with your final gallery. This will be a very fun afternoon! I try to schedule all photoshoots to start two and a half hours before sunset. This is when the light is best for photography, and by the end of the session we might get some dramatic sunset shots! During this time we will get a huge variety of pictures. I’ll take close-ups and full body shots and action shots and artsy, creative shots. We will take both color and black and white. We’ll get a nice portrait for Grandma and a unique shot for your Instagram feed.
If you are a person who doesn’t LOVE having their picture taken, rest assured, this will be more fun than you think. I have had even the most skeptical model tell me they can’t believe how much fun they had during their session.
When you see your final gallery you will be able to download all of your images. I will provide you with printing options so you get the best possible products from your files.
