I LOVE photographing people! I love watching a client go from feeling a little awkward and self-conscious to laughing and having fun and feeling confident. I love snapping the shutter at just the right moment and knowing I have captured their true personality. I love finding unique angles and settings and poses that produce one of a kind images. I love seeing my client’s eyes light up when they see their final pictures because they have never seen themselves that way before. My job is just plain fun!
From an early age I knew I wanted to work as an artist. There is something inside me that delights in being creative. I went to Miami University on a full art scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I worked for several years in graphic design as well as painting large murals, but my passion was finally discovered when I picked up a camera and experienced the magic of documenting people. You know you have found your calling when you look forward to every aspect of your job.
When I decided to start my own business I knew I wanted my photography studio to be different. My goal is not just to make “pretty pictures”, it is to truly capture the personality of each client. I have committed to making each client a priority by overwhelming them with customer service. My clients not only receive exceptional images but they value the entire experience. By the end of our time together, I hope they feel like they have a new friend. Most of my clients have hired me over and over again. I couldn't ask for a better compliment!
